The year 2005-06 was eventfull for Subhas Chandra Bose Degree College when we had been granted to run B.Ed. classes.

The same way the year 2007-08 is another year of commendable achievement when we have been granted to status of P.G. Degree college with class permission of B.Sc. and M.A. in two subject Sociology and Education respectively, a new feather in the cap.

All the goals and targets set for various areas of activities have been successfully achieved due to exemplary commitment. unswerving determination and professional efficiency of our dedicated team of Management,

Teachers, Students and Community. The Institute has achieved district miles stones in the areas of consultancy, Action-Reseach out-reach activities, publication and teacher education.

As we all know that Education plays a vital role in the socio-economic development and success of our democratic institutions. Since, It is the youths who make a country great. There is therefore, an acute need to shape and make our youths as the right type of citizens.

To fulfill this requirement especially in rural areas we need pragmatic and visionary teachers at middle level of our educational system. So, we endeavor to nurture right type of teachers and technically sound in the qualities of head, heart and hand, through the programme of teacher education. We would make all efforts to draw and develop in their personalities - body, mind and Spirit.

These committed and dedicated teachers will go back to society to educate, train, guide and develop enthusiasm vigor, skill and communication in their students to cope with the Socio-Eco-Politico needs of the community in particular and the country in general.

Subhash Chandra Bose P.G. College stands for sincerity, commitment and dedication in the field of education right from its very beginning as the vision and mission of its fonder Late Shri Lal Singh Ji who sacrificed his life for these ideals and values to cater to the educational needs of rural people.

Let us rededicate to make it sure that the quality and quantity our work provide a solid platform for a smooth take towards .......... new heights of excellence in the field of rural education for development and democracy.

In the end, with the unstained support, loyalty and assurance from all our board members we shall succeed in educationally positioning the SCBPGDC as a jewel in the crown of the academic community. I look forward to receiving guidance and encouragement from all our well-wishers in our onward March.
